Corridor's signature plaid shirts are bespoke made for them in Madras, India — the namesake of that other iconic fabric: Madras check. The distinctive heavy gauge knit of the pattern is achieved using three generations of knowledge in embroidery, hand looming and natural dying. The result is a garment that has come to exemplify the look and feel of Corridor as a brand.
The shirt itself is cut in a relaxed fit, which allows the heavy, chunky fabric to be at it's best. Squint and you can spot the single chest pocket, expertly hidden within the repeating pattern of checks and herringbone chevrons.
